Ahhhh. . . A Royal Wedding!

In honor of today's announcement that finally Prince William will marry Kate Middleton next year, I thought it a good time to post my version of Princess Diana's wedding gown made for my Barbie, circa 1981.

Last week I attended an event held in The Tower Room on the 31st floor of Clark Tower. While there I took the opportunity to snap some shots of the city. Memphis is a pretty good lookin' city!

The Roots of Creativity

This post begins a series of posts where I show how I started down the creative path. . .Barbie!  Yes, that venerable old institution of young girls everywhere. It was my hatred of the off-the-rack clothes that caused me to design and make my own. Here are the first 2 designs:
